The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will waive the need for a license Saturday at various locations in the region.
On June 1, angling licenses will not be required for those participating in Free Fishing Weekend events at the following locations:
- 9 a.m.-2 p.m. — Alton Baker Park, Eugene
- 10 a.m.-3 p.m. — Small Fry Lake, Promontory Park, Estacada (lake open only to anglers ages 17 and under)
- 7 a.m.-4 p.m. — Henry Hagg Lake, Gaston
- 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. — West Kirk Park, Junction City
- 9 a.m.-2 p.m. — Tugman State Park (Eel Lake), Lakeside
- 9 a.m.-2 p.m. — Commonwealth State Park, Portland
- 9 a.m.-1 p.m. — Olalla Reservoir, Toledo
- 9 a.m.-2 p.m. — Cleawox Lake, Florence
