Philomath Fire & Rescue firefighters extinguished a fire last week that broke out in a parked recreational vehicle at a location on North 14th Street, Capt. Rich Saalsaa reported.
The local agency was dispatched to the fire at 4:38 p.m. Thursday. Saalsaa said, “Crews arrived to find a fully involved fire in a 1970s RV.”
A crew of five personnel with Engine 231 put out the fire. No injuries were reported and the fire was contained to the RV, Saalsaa said.
Saalsaa added that the cause of the fire is undetermined. The RV was a total loss.
