The Philomath Fire and Rescue Board of Directors plans to appoint a Budget Committee, review automatic and mutual aid agreements and schedule a work session to discuss the district’s master plan during its monthly meeting at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12 at Station 201.
The meeting agenda’s new business also includes the chief review process, appointment of a budget officer and support for the district to seek funding through the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grants (SAFER) program, which is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
In addition, the board member code of conduct discussion will continue with the latest topic in the series.
The agenda also provides time for reports from Fire Chief Chancy Ferguson, Deputy Fire Chief Rich Saalsaa, office administrator Ashley Scott, the volunteer association’s Dan Eddy, the firefighter union’s Scott Moser and City Council liaison Christopher McMorran.
