The schedule includes classes on Jan. 18, March 15, May 17, June 21, Aug. 16, Sept. 20, Oct. 18 and Nov. 15.

The Heartsaver First Aid-CPR-AED program is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrive. In the course, students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.

The cost of the full course is $65. For registration and payment links, go online to the Philomath Fire and Rescue’s Heartsaver First Aid-CPR-AED Classes webpage. Call the fire station at 541-360-0030 for more information.
