SATURDAY, APRIL 4
• 10:23 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire on Old River Road near Monroe as automatic aid for the Monroe Rural Fire Protection District. Philomath responded with three personnel in an engine. Once Monroe Rural Fire arrived on scene, the incoming Fire and Rescue engine was cancelled.

Crews arrived to find several burn piles and spoke with a farm crew that was burning brush at the edges of their field to reduce fuels and wildland fire risk.
