FRIDAY, JAN. 17

• 9:07 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a mutual aid request to serve as backup at the Benton County Fairgrounds for the Corvallis Fire Department. The response was canceled en route.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 11:51 a.m. (Pioneer Street), 3:28 p.m. (North Seventh Street), 7:03 p.m. (Joseph Lane) and 9:32 p.m. (North Seventh Street).

SATURDAY, JAN. 18

• 12:48 p.m. — Firefighters went on standby at the Benton County Fairgrounds for the Corvallis Fire Department.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 12:18 a.m. (North Seventh Street), 5:47 p.m. (Rosecrest Drive), 8:25 p.m. (North 12th Street) and 11:08 p.m. (Pleasant View Drive).

SUNDAY, JAN. 19

• 4:38 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a fire in the 25000 block of Starr Creek Road. Upon arrival, firefighters did not find an active fire. The situation involved a failed electrical motor in a furnace unit.

MONDAY, JAN. 20

• 12:25 p.m. — Firefighters conducted a smoke investigation at Holiday Tree Farm.

TUESDAY, JAN. 21

• 6:31 a.m. — Firefighters served as medical standby at a location on the Oregon State University campus.

• 8:55 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm at Patrick Lumber.

• 9:32 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the 31000 block of McLoughlin Drive.

• 4:40 p.m. — Firefighters conducted an odor investigation in the 31000 block of Fern Road.

• 5:04 p.m. — Firefighters conducted an odor investigation in the 24000 block of Old Peak Road.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 1:31 a.m. (Neabeack Hill Drive), 5:39 a.m. (South 23rd Street), 6:18 a.m. (Houser Lane) and 10:42 p.m. (College Street).

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 22

• 4:35 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the 400 block of Benton View Drive.

• 5:20 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a flue fire in the 34000 block of Marys River Estates Road. The fire was extinguished by the homeowner prior to the fire department’s arrival.

• 5:21 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a crash on Maxfield Creek Road about 4 miles east of its intersection with Kings Valley Highway. Upon arrival, a vehicle was found upside down in a creek. No occupants were found with the vehicle and contacted later by law enforcement. See separate story.

THURSDAY, JAN. 23

•7:39 a.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash in the 24000 block of Grange Hall Road. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle. See separate story.
