Philomath Fire and Rescue’s board of directors plans to meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Station 201 for an agenda that includes a review of the district’s 2023-24 fiscal year audit report from its accountant and a discussion of fees that are charged for various classes.
Also on the agenda, the board will go over its position on publishing legal advertising in Philomath News and consider a levy assistance option from a Washington-based public affairs company.
A policy update discussion with Fire Chief Chancy Ferguson and discussion of a master plan community survey will be revisited. Time is also provided for reports from the fire chief, deputy fire chief, office administrator, volunteer association, firefighter union and city liaison.
