Starker Forests Mill Tour

Join Starker Forests on Friday, Aug. 7 for the Starker Forests Mill Tour. Get a look at how harvested trees are transformed into lumber and chips on this tour at a local mill. We’ll follow logs from delivery to finished product and discuss how sustainability and efficiency are integrated into every step of the process. The organization’s free tours provides the opportunity to learn more about managing forests.
The tours leave from the office at 1 p.m. and return by 4:30 p.m. The office is located at 7240 Philomath Blvd. in Corvallis. RSVP is required; call 541-929-2477 or email recreation@starkerforests.com.
