Maxtivity Arts and Crafts Creative Space: Clay in One Day

Maxtivity Arts and Crafts Creative Space hosts a class called Clay in One Day: Make and Take a Mug from 6-8 p.m. on April 17, 24 and May 1. Description by class organizers: “Typically clay hand building requires days for drying, kiln firing, and glaze firing with inconvenient pick up times (we can easily forget to pick up pieces). Instead, join this relaxing clay class where you’ll get to make a mug with wet clay, glaze a provided fired mug, and take a unique mug created by another artist(s). This is an unconventional way to create with clay- and in a cool way you get to inherit a mug from another artist or two and you join the chain of artists designing mugs for someone else. Your pieces of work will join the fun chain of mug sharing to pay it forward.” The class cost is $39.
