Story updated

A previous version of this story included mention of items that have since been removed through a revision of the School Board's meeting agenda.

The Philomath School Board will take a deeper dive into enrollment numbers during its meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the school district office.

The meeting agenda indicates that information will be shared to look at specifics of the district’s student population, including in-district vs. out-of-district enrollment numbers, capacity analysis and an overall count.

The board also plans to take on a conversation about compensation for board members, an option now available to them following passage of House Bill 2753 during this year’s state legislative session. The State Report Card timeline is among other items on the list of discussion items.

The Philomath School District office is located at 1620 Applegate St., with access to the meeting through a door at the back of the building. Meetings are also streamed on the school district’s YouTube channel.

The School Board plans to begin the evening with an executive session at 6 p.m. to discuss topics allowed by state statute. Executive sessions are closed to the public.
