The Benton County Health Department has organized a COVID-19 pediatric drop-in vaccination clinic to occur in Philomath on Friday, June 22.

The clinic, which is for children ages 6 months to 11 years, will run from 4-7 p.m. at Clemens Primary School in the cafeteria. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available. Appointments are not necessary.

As a temporary health-care setting, masks are required at all vaccination events.

The COVID-19 vaccine is free, including out-of-state residents, and identification or proof of insurance is not required. Consent of a parent or legal guardian is required for children under age 15 (the forms are available on site).

For children 6 months to 4 years old, Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine is a three-dose series, with the second given 21 days after first, and the third given two months after the second.

The Moderna vaccine is a two-dose series for children 6 months to 6 years old with the second dose given 28 days after the first.

All events are wheelchair accessible and have interpretation services available. To make arrangements for other accommodations, call the Benton County Call Center at 541-766-6120 (weekdays, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.).
