The Philomath City Council approved liquor license renewals of 12 local businesses to the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission Monday evening.

Chief of Police Dave Gurski found no disqualifying information on the establishments, which include: Philomath Towne Pump, Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant, Jona’s Market, Philomath Market, Main Street Market 6 (Mobil gas station), Eats and Treats Café, Reliance Petroleum (Chevron gas station), the Meet’n Place, Vinwood Taphouse, Dollar General Store, the Dizzy Hen and the Woodsman.

The OLCC requires approval from a local governing body on all liquor license applications.

The council approved the renewals as part of the meeting’s consent agenda, which also included minutes from an April 14 work session and meeting.
