The Philomath Housing and Economic Development Committee plans to meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall with plans to review proposed amendments to the city’s residential development code.

Earlier this year, the Philomath Planning Commission started the task of updating the city’s development code, a process that is expected to last through the year. Residential development standards for density, building heights, setbacks and more are among the most recent recommendations that the committee will be reviewing.

Also on the agenda, the committee also plans to elect a chair, co-chair and scribe.

Members of the committee include David Alba, Steve Cyr, Robert Davis, Ronald Derrick, Sandy Heath, Spencer Irwin, Carly Johansen, Janel Lajoie, Nancy Murphy, Stuart Pritchard and Whitney Smart along with Mayor Chas Jones and city councilors Christopher McMorran and Matt Lehman.

For those interested in the meeting but unable to attend at City Hall, it will be live-streamed on the city’s YouTube channel.
