The Philomath Finance and Administration Committee plans to meet at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Philomath City Hall to discuss employee-related matters.
The group is scheduled to open the meeting and adjourn into an executive session as allowed by state law to consider the “employment of public officers, employees and agents.”
The committee will then reconvene in open session for an agenda that includes discussions on a recommendation for the hiring of a city recorder and the city manager’s annual performance evaluation.
The Finance and Administration Committee is made up of Mayor Chas Jones and city councilors Jessica Andrade and Teresa Nielson.
