In an Oregon West Conference softball matchup on Monday afternoon, Cascade posted a 16-1 win over Philomath.
The Cougars remain unbeaten in league play with a 7-0 record and are now 14-1 overall. The Warriors dropped to 1-6 in the conference, 1-15 overall.
Cascade hit two home runs, including a grand slam. For Philomath, junior Kaylie Kohler hit a double to drive in junior Zoee Howard, who had reached base on a walk.

Philomath is scheduled to play at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at Stayton. The next home game is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Thursday against Newport.
