Cardwell Hill Cellars will host the Cooper Hollow Jazz Quintet in concert from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday as part of a benefit for the Benton County Historical Society.

There is no entry fee but Cardwell Hill Cellars is asking guests to make a donation to BCHS in lieu of admission. The vineyard has selected the historical society as its featured local nonprofit for the Aug. 21 event, which also marks the organization’s 75th anniversary.

Mud Oven Pizza will be on site for food and guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.

The Cooper Hollow Jazz Quintet features Fred Berman on saxophone and flute, Mark Bielman on upright and electric bass, Brian Bucolo on drums, David Clausnitzer on trumpet and flugelhorn, and David Feinberg on piano.

Cardwell Hill Cellars is located at 24241 Cardwell Hill Drive. (From Philomath, take Highway 20 west to Kings Valley Highway and after 1.5 miles, turn right onto Cardwell Hill Drive; after 0.75 of a mile, the Cardwell gate will be on the left side of the road).
