The annual scholastic book fair at Philomath Elementary School begins Monday and runs through Thursday, organizers announced.
Students in each classroom will have a chance to attend throughout the week during school hours but the book fair will be open to the public after the final bell from 2:45-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 2:45-6 p.m. Thursday.
The Philomath Parent-Teacher Organization puts on the event with money raised going toward the purchase of new books and other supplies for the schools.
“We always get such amazing community support and are excited to see the community come out again for a great cause,” said Stefanie Larson, who is serving as a co-chair for the event with Tammy Schade.
