The Philomath Bluegrass Workshop and Jam returns to Marys River Grange Hall on the second Wednesday each month beginning Sept. 11, organizer Yvonne McMillan announced.
Instructor Adam Scramstad will teach guitar fingerstyle in September.
The event runs from 7-10 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for youth 18 and under. Alcohol is not allowed. Anyone who wants to come out and listen can donate as desired.
The instruction portion of the evening takes place over the first 30 minutes to be followed by 2-1/2 hours of jamming.
Marys River Grange Hall is located at 24707 Grange Hall Road.
