FRIDAY, APRIL 17
• 1:38 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 32-year-old Alsea woman at a residence along Highway 34 southwest of Philomath on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant. The woman was booked on misdemeanor charges of second-degree child neglect, endangering the welfare of a minor and recklessly endangering another person.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29
• 10:09 p.m. — BCSO responded to a single-vehicle crash off Airport Avenue in an area east of Bellfountain Road in which a driver reported swerving into a field to avoid an oncoming truck that had crossed into his lane. The driver, an 18-year-old Philomath man, arranged for his own tow. No injuries were reported.
SUNDAY, MAY 3
• 2:33 p.m. — BCSO discovered burned trash and debris near a Starker Forests gate on Hoskins Road near Shingle Creek Road. Photos were taken and information was forwarded to BCSO Forest Patrol.
• 9 p.m. — BCSO took a report from a Philomath man who said his vehicle was struck while parked in his driveway on West Hills Road, leaving white paint transfer on his gray Toyota Camry.
MONDAY, MAY 4
• 8:20 a.m. — BCSO responded to a two-vehicle crash on Bellfountain Road near Chapel Drive. Airbags deployed in the collision, which involved a Honda Civic rear-ending another Honda Civic, with one of the vehicles going into a ditch. The drivers, a 30-year-old Philomath man and a 29-year-old Corvallis woman, reported no injuries.
• 8:21 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 29-year-old Albany woman on charges of misdemeanor driving while suspended and a failure-to-appear warrant from Marion County Circuit Court following a traffic stop at Highway 20 and Norton Creek Road near Blodgett. The woman was also cited for speeding, driving uninsured, failure to use an ignition interlock device and failure to register the vehicle.
