WEDNESDAY, FEB. 25

• 9:24 a.m. — BCSO responded to a report of burglary at a location on Byrd Lane in Blodgett. The caller reported that someone had attempted to break into a residence and a shop on the property. No entry was made into the structures but two security cameras valued at $100 were stolen.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4

• BCSO responded via phone call (time not reported) to a Philomath resident who had been receiving unwanted contact from her husband. The deputy spoke to the man and notified him to have no further phone, text or email contact with the woman. 

THURSDAY, MARCH 5

• 1:35 a.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Highway 20 about 1 mile west of Philomath involving a 2001 Chevrolet Express Van that was blocking a driveway with a man who appeared to be waving down cars. The driver, a 53-year-old Corvallis man, was arrested on two warrants out of Benton County Circuit Court for failure to appear. The man arranged for a tow truck.

SATURDAY, MARCH 7

• 5:15 p.m. — BCSO responded to a motorcycle crash on Decker Road near milepost 2. According to a report on the incident, a 33-year-old Corvallis man was heading west on Decker Road when he noticed the front wheel starting to wobble. The rider laid the motorcycle down and ended up in a ditch while the bike slid around 100 yards down the road. The man was transported via ambulance to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis with unspecified injuries.

SUNDAY, MARCH 8

• 9:58 p.m. — BCSO responded to a property on Davis Road for a suspicious circumstance involving a resident who believed someone was attempting to break into his barn. Deputies searched the area and were unable to locate anything suspicious. Deputies responded within the next hour to two additional calls by the resident but deputies were still unable to find any suspicious activity.
