SATURDAY, NOV. 15

• 12:36 a.m. — BCSO arrested a 42-year-old Corvallis man on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving following a crash at the intersection of Fern Road and Grange Hall Road.

• 11:22 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 55-year-old Philomath man on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving during a traffic stop at Fern Road and Grange Hall Road. The man was later issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.

TUESDAY, NOV. 18

• 5:21 a.m. — BCSO arrested a 21-year-old Philomath man on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal trespass following an incident at a residence on Highway 34. Deputies had been dispatched to the location when a caller said that his adult son was holding a prowler at gunpoint. With assistance from Philomath Police, the intruder was arrested and transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis for a mental health assessment.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 19

• 1:17 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a 68-year-old male jogger who was bitten by a dog in the 1600 block of West Hills Road. The dog, a miniature American shepherd, was placed in a quarantine. The dog’s owner was not cited at the request of the victim.

SATURDAY, NOV. 22

• 12:06 a.m. — BCSO arrested Kasey Dene Christensen, 44, of Eugene, on a felony charge of failure to register as a sex offender during a traffic stop on Highway 20 near Wren. The deputy issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody due to Benton County Jail capacity.
