TUESDAY, SEPT. 3
• 10:01 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 63-year-old Salem man on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol under .08) and reckless driving following a report of a possible road rage incident near the Blodgett Store on Highway 20. A motorist who called in reported that he was being tailgated by a Mercury Grand Marquis that was flashing high beams and trying to force him off the road. The motorist said he attempted a U-turn to evade the vehicle but the Grand Marquis continued to follow him.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 6
• 4:17 p.m. — BCSO responded to a crash in the 24700 block of Grange Hall Road that involved a commercial truck that had taken down a power line and left the area with the driver of another vehicle caught between downed lines. The truck was later found with the driver, a 65-year-old Eugene man, identified. The deputy reported that the driver was unaware of the damage and determined that no crime had been committed. The cost of the damage to the public utilities and private property exceeded $2,500.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 12
• 8:45 a.m. —BCSO responded to a single-vehicle crash on Tum Tum Road just west of Blodgett involving a Dodge Ram that left the roadway and while trying to correct, tipped over and wedged into a row of trees. The driver, a 19-year-old Philomath woman, was reportedly not injured in the crash.
• 11:42 a.m. — BCSO responded to a crash on Maxfield Creek Road near Kings Valley Highway. A juvenile female was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis with injuries. No other information in the circumstances of the crash were reported.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 14
• 12:30 a.m. — BCSO arrested Rachael Justine Moore, 54, of Newport, on a statewide felony parole board warrant out of Union County along Highway 20 at Ellmaker State Wayside near Burnt Woods. Moore was transported to Benton County Jail.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 20
• 8:50 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 42-year-old Philomath woman on misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass following an incident at a Philomath convenience store. An employee called to report a woman in the store had become disorderly and wanted to fight.
