MONDAY, OCT. 21

• 12:50 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a 27-year-old Falls City man who had entered the Kings Valley Charter School grounds, a violation of an active restraining order. A deputy later arrested the man on a contempt of court charge.

THURSDAY, OCT. 24

• 7:51 a.m. — BCSO arrested a 41-year-old Philomath woman on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants following a single-vehicle crash on Bellfountain Road just north of Finley Refuge Road. The driver was headed south on Bellfountain when she reportedly swerved into the east ditch to avoid hitting a deer.

FRIDAY, OCT. 25

• 10:42 a.m. — BCSO responded to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Bellfountain Road and Llewellyn Road involving a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox and a loaded log truck. A report on the incident showed that the driver of the Equinox, a 67-year-old Eugene woman, failed to stop for a log truck driven by a 59-year-old Waldport man. Both drivers were transported to the hospital. See separate story

SATURDAY, OCT. 26

• 5:46 a.m. — BCSO responded to a Decker Road residence for a report of a possible prowler. A woman who reported the incident said she heard a knock on a back door. Deputies did not find anyone on the property.
