TUESDAY, OCT. 7

• BCSO responded to a crash (time not reported) on Bellfountain Road between Decker Road and Inavale Way involving a 61-year-old Junction City man in a Chevrolet pickup pulling a 19-foot travel trailer. According to an incident report, the trailer became separated from the vehicle and crashed into a roadside ditch. No injuries were reported.

THURSDAY, OCT. 9

• 4:12 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a missing 76-year-old Albany woman on U.S. Forest Service land along Brenner Creek Road. The woman’s husband reported that his wife was overdue from a hike in the woods gathering mushrooms. Search-and-rescue teams were later called and the woman was found alive and well at approximately 8 p.m.

MONDAY, OCT. 13

• 3:05 a.m. — BCSO responded to a crash on Luckiamute Road involving a 31-year-old Seal Rock man driving an empty log truck that had gone off the road and overturned. No injuries were reported and the driver arranged for the recovery of the truck.

• 6:23 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 44-year-old Albany man on a contempt warrant out of Albany Municipal Court in the gravel lot at Highway 20 and Kings Valley Highway.
