TUESDAY, AUG. 5

• 9:49 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report from a Kings Valley resident who had received threatening messages from her ex-husband. Probable cause was established to arrest a 26-year-old Falls City man and he was later booked on a misdemeanor charge of telephonic harassment.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 6

• 7:41 a.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a log truck that had crashed at the intersection of Highway 20 and Kings Valley Highway. According to the incident report, the log truck driver, a 58-year-old Swisshome man, was attempting to turn westbound from Kings Valley Highway when the trailer tipped over and spilled its contents into the eastbound lane of Highway 20. Traffic was directed by BCSO deputies while the logs were cleared from the highway.

FRIDAY, AUG. 8

• 12:36 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a crash on Highway 20 west of Lone Star Road involving a vehicle driven by a 38-year-old Philomath man that rear-ended a vehicle driven by a 62-year-old Toledo man who was waiting to turn into a driveway. All occupants were wearing seatbelts and no injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
