TUESDAY, SEPT. 24

• 7:32 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 37-year-old Philomath man on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving after he was approached along Highway 34 on his bicycle. The man reportedly kept falling off the bike and was contacted in an area near Hartless Hill Lane. The man, who refused to be tested for blood alcohol content, was transported to Benton County Jail. 

MONDAY, OCT. 7

• 3:06 p.m. — BCSO took a report of mail theft from a 58-year-old woman who lives at a residence along Highway 20. The woman said a check from an employer had been stolen during an unknown time frame and asked for the theft to be documented.

FRIDAY, OCT. 11

• 7:41 p.m. — BCSO arrested Blake Ryan McMackin-Allison, 28, of Silverton, on a felony-level driving-while-suspended offense after he had been pulled over on Highway 20 near Kings Valley Highway for driving 77 mph in a 55-mph zone. The man also had two additional felony warrants for his arrest. He was transported to Benton County Jail.
