SUNDAY, DEC. 1

• 11:01 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 47-year-old Eugene woman on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving following a crash on Highway 20 near Blodgett Road. The preliminary investigation determined that the motorist was heading east on the highway in a 2002 Toyota pickup and crashed through a guardrail. She was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center to be evaluated prior to the arrest.

FRIDAY, DEC. 6

• 10:21 a.m. — BCSO arrested a 37-year-old Albany man during a traffic stop on Highway 34 near Rock Creek Road southwest of Philomath on a contempt-of-court warrant out of Albany Municipal Court. The man was cited and released.

TUESDAY, DEC. 10

• 11:10 a.m. — BCSO cited a 43-year-old Philomath man for permitting a dog to run at large following an incident in the Chicory Lane vicinity. The dog reportedly ran onto a neighbor’s property and acted in a menacing way. The dog owner was also warned about his livestock running onto the neighbor’s property and destroying plants.

SATURDAY, DEC. 14

• 1:55 p.m. — BCSO responded to a single-vehicle crash on Maxfield Creek Road less than a mile east of the Kings Valley Highway intersection. According to a report on the incident, a 45-year-old Dallas man drove his pickup off the road into heavy brush after briefly blacking out when a sandwich he was eating became lodged in his throat. The man suffered an injury to his head. A passenger, a 70-year-old Salem man, was not injured. The driver’s wife arrived to pick them both up and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
