SATURDAY, JUNE 14

• 4:55 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 67-year-old Oregon City man on a warrant for failure to appear in court and several misdemeanor charges, which included resisting arrest/disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, reckless driving, eluding law enforcement in a vehicle and failure to register as a sex offender. A deputy attempted to pull over the man, who was driving a 2003 Subaru Legacy station wagon, on Highway 20 near Kings Valley Highway when the attempt to elude allegedly occurred. He was transported to Benton County Jail.

• 8:05 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Fern Road near Powder House Road. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that the driver, a 21-year-old Molalla man, had crashed due to a large amount of gravel on the roadway. He denied medical attention and was able to ride the motorcycle from the scene.

FRIDAY, JUNE 20

• 4:32 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a hit-and-run that had occurred June 18 at a trailhead located at the end of Woods Creek Road. The caller, a 55-year-old Corvallis man, reported that someone had damaged his 2019 Volkswagen Atlas while it was parked at the trailhead.

• 6:03 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 57-year-old Blodgett man on two warrants for failure to appear in court during contact at a location along Blodgett Road. The man was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.

SATURDAY, JUNE 21

• 5:35 p.m. — BCSO cited an 18-year-old Corvallis man on a misdemeanor charge of a person under 21 possessing marijuana while operating a motor vehicle following an incident that occurred in the 6000 block of Southwest Plymouth Drive just east of Philomath. According to a deputy’s report, he was dispatched to a report of a vehicle that went off the road and into a ditch while striking his mailbox and culvert. Philomath Police located the vehicle. The driver reported that he was driving west on Plymouth Drive when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and entered the north ditch, blaming the crash on wet roads and bald tires.
