SATURDAY, APRIL 26
• 6:39 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a crash on Highway 20 about 2 miles west of Philomath involving a Ford F150 that hit five reflective road posts when the driver, a 25-year-old Toledo man, failed to stay in his lane while negotiating a curve. The man was warned for driving drowsy and the vehicle needed to be towed because of a dead battery. The vehicle’s damage and the post damage did not exceed $2,500.
TUESDAY, APRIL 29
• 5:10 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a fight in progress at a residence on Gellatly Way involving two juvenile sisters. The two girls were separated and an adult family member assisted to prevent further fighting. Law enforcement determined that no further action was needed.
TUESDAY, MAY 6
• 5:59 p.m. — BCSO responded to a Gellatly Way residence for a report of a man’s former girlfriend, a 21-year-old woman from Everett, Washington, who allegedly stole a cat and had fraudulently used his credit card to pay a cellphone bill. The investigation determined that the cat had originally belonged to the woman and was a civil matter but she had committed identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. The credit card charge was disputed and the money returned. The woman was informed that she was not to contact the man any further.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 7
• 8:07 a.m. — BSO responded to a Harris Road residence for a report of fraud involving a debit card in the name of a 43-year-old Philomath man that had been sent to his rental address without his knowledge.
• 5:03 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 49-year-old Monroe man on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol with blood alcohol content of .23%) and driving while suspended during a traffic stop Highway 34 at Spencer Creek Road, about 11 miles southwest of Philomath.
