SUNDAY, MAY 25

• 9:45 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 28-year-old Albany woman on a failure-to-appear warrant during a traffic stop on Main Street near 24th Street in Philomath. The woman was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.

MONDAY, MAY 26

• 2:29 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a fight at Beazell Memorial Forest on Kings Valley Highway involving an Albany man who reportedly walked into a wedding, punched one person and began threatening to fight others. Deputies arrested Alionzo Charles Bernal Wickliff, 35, on a felony charge of third-degree robbery and other charges, including fourth-degree assault and menacing.

TUESDAY, MAY 27

• 6:30 a.m. — BCSO responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Blodgett involving a Ford Fusion that rear-ended a loaded log truck at “highway speed,” according to a deputy’s report. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was totaled and the truck sustained no damage. The drivers involved in the incident were a 27-year-old Blodgett woman and a 31-year-old Albany man.  

• 6:45 a.m. — BCSO arrested an 18-year-old Corvallis man on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal trespass on private property near Marys Peak. A deputy responded to a report of trespassing in an area near milepost 3 on Marys Peak Road for an individual who was interfering with an active logging operation. The man was cited in lieu of custody.

SATURDAY, MAY 31

• 1:21 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash that had occurred earlier that morning in the 4400 block of Southwest Airport Avenue south of Philomath. The report did not indicate specifics on what had been damaged and mentioned that there were no suspects.

• 3:05 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a vehicle that hit a deer at Highway 34 and Decker Road and was reportedly blocking the highway. The responding deputy reported that he found the car and deer near milepost 50, which is roughly 2 miles northeast of the Marys Peak Road turnoff. No injuries to occupants of the vehicle were reported.

SUNDAY, JUNE 1

• 5:14 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 66-year-old Lebanon woman on a warrant for failure to appear during a traffic stop at Main Street and Landmark Drive. The woman was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.

MONDAY, JUNE 2

• 8:14 a.m. — BCSO responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Airport Avenue and Bellfountain Road south of Philomath. According to a deputy’s report, a 29-year-old Philomath man driving a Honda Pilot east on Airport Road attempted to cross Bellfountain Road but hit a log truck driven by a 34-year-old man (city of residence not reported). There were reportedly no injuries.
