THURSDAY, MAY 14
• 5:14 p.m. — BCSO arrested Christian Daniel Wirth, 31, of Blodgett on felony charges of felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon, and misdemeanor charges of pointing a firearm at another and two counts of menacing following an incident on Hoskins Road near Shingle Creek Road. Wirth was lodged at Benton County Jail.
SUNDAY, MAY 17
• 5:55 a.m. — BCSO responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Garrett Lane in which a driver on a work route partially left the roadway, resulting in a crash. The driver, a 22-year-old man from Newport, was uninjured and the employer arranged for a tow.
