MONDAY, JULY 29
• 1:24 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 64-year-old Corvallis man and a 53-year-old Philomath woman on outstanding warrants during a traffic stop in the 25000 block of Oak Lane.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 31
• 7:37 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a dog that was found in the 1100 block of West Hills Road in Philomath. The dog was a small white beagle-terrier mix and was wearing a Heartland Humane Society tag. The dog was transported to Heartland.
THURSDAY, AUG. 1
• 4:45 a.m. — BCSO responded to a single-vehicle crash on Bellfountain Road about 2 miles south of Muddy Creek Charter School involving a 2006 Ford Expedition that rolled into a ditch. Upon arrival, the driver was not at the scene. A deputy contacted the driver, an 18-year-old Corvallis man, who said he had swerved to miss a deer and lost control of the vehicle.
FRIDAY, AUG. 2
• 3:56 a.m. — BCSO responded to a Happy Hollow Road property in Blodgett for a report of a possible trespassing or burglary situation. Deputies arrived to find a light on in a large unlocked shop but no signs of criminal activity.
SUNDAY, AUG. 4
• 10:44 p.m. —BCSO arrested a 50-year-old Philomath man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended during a traffic stop at West Hills Road and Reservoir Road. The driver was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
MONDAY, AUG. 5
• 1:46 a.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a traffic hazard in the area of South Seventh Street and Applegate Street. Upon arrival, a deputy found a 40-year-old Eugene woman who was “extremely under the influence of drugs” and had thrown all of her belongings from her van into the street. The woman was directed to put all of her items back inside the van. No citation was issued.
