THURSDAY, APRIL 24
• 9:33 a.m. — BCSO took a report at the Law Enforcement Center in Corvallis from a 64-year-old Blodgett man who received a bad check. The victim reported that his online girlfriend had sent him a check for $15,620 but the bank would not cash it. The deputy explained to the man that it was clearly fraudulent activity.
SUNDAY, MAY 11
• 6:37 p.m. — BCSO responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 20 in an area east of Priest Road. The driver, a 65-year-old Eddyville man, was not injured and arranged for his Ford F250 to be towed.
MONDAY, MAY 12
• 10:57 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 33-year-old Salem man on a failure-to-appear bench warrant out of Salem Municipal Court when he was pulled over for traveling 77 mph in a 55-mph zone while driving a Lexus 300 on Highway 20 near Blodgett. A citation was issued in lieu of custody. The man was cited for driving while suspended. The Lexus was driven from the scene by a valid operator.
