The Philomath Housing and Economic Development Committee plans to meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the conference room at the Philomath Police Department.
Committee members will take a look at the Philomath’s affordable housing project on the corner of 20th and Main streets and provide input on provisions that the city should consider when entering into a property sales agreement with The Commonwealth Companies, a national nonprofit that constructs and manages subsidized housing.
The city entered into an exclusivity agreement with Commonwealth in August. The developer proposed a 33-unit, four-story mid-rise apartment building.
Also on the agenda, the committee will review a regional economic development strategic plan and identify preferred areas of focus for Philomath.
For those not attending in person but interested in the proceedings, the city livestreams meetings on its YouTube channel.
