Two Philomath ad-hoc committees are scheduled to meet Wednesday and the Park Advisory Board will gather Thursday.

The city’s Public Art Ad Hoc Committee plans to meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through videoconferencing with an agenda that features discussion of the sidewalk inlay design for the downtown streetscape project.

The meeting will be conducted through Zoom and the public can watch a live-stream on the city’s Facebook page.

A new ad-hoc committee created to explore the possibility of establishing a Heritage Tree program will meet in person at 6 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall. The agenda is focused on discussion of how such a program could work in Philomath.

The park board plans to discuss band selection for this summer’s Music in the Park series. A proposed expansion of Marys River Park to the west side of Ninth Street and south of the current water treatment plant is also on the agenda.
