FRIDAY, JAN. 24

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a dog complaint at 12:33 p.m. (Pioneer Street and North 11th Street) and a possible restraining order violation (South 13th Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 12:11 a.m. (Ervin Road and Peterson Road). PPD reported five traffic stops.

SATURDAY, JAN. 25

• 3:10 p.m. — Police responded to the 1300 block of Main Street for a report of a hit-and-run that occurred earlier in the day.

Other calls: Police responses included a noise disturbance (South 16th Street), suicidal subject at 12:10 p.m., disabled vehicle at 6:40 p.m. (Applegate Street), suspicious vehicle at 7:32 p.m. (Starker Place) and a noise disturbance at 10:07 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported eight traffic stops.

SUNDAY, JAN. 26

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included motorist assistance at 3:17 a.m. (Main Street and Clemens Mill Road), parking complaint at 12:22 p.m. (Pioneer Street), dog at large at 2:02 p.m. (South 16th Street), found property at 3:56 p.m. (Applegate Street) and a mental health situation at 6:29 p.m. PPD reported five traffic stops.

MONDAY, JAN. 27

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a dog barking at 10:49 p.m. (Quail Glenn Drive). PPD reported five traffic stops.

TUESDAY, JAN. 28

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a PPD sergeant responding as a drug recognition expert for another agency at 5:35 a.m. (Samaritan Albany General Hospital), non-911 issue at 8:48 a.m. (North Seventh Street), animal complaint at 10:47 a.m. (Pioneer Street and North 11th Street), extra patrol at 3:16 p.m. (South 19th Street and Cedar Street), citizen contact at 3:46 p.m. (South 13th Street), bike traffic at 6 p.m. (Main Street and North Eighth Street), animal complaint at 6:51 p.m. (Applegate Street), noise disturbance at 8:17 p.m. (North 19th Street) and a trespass situation at 8:55 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported three traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 29

• 1:59 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run at South 13th Street and Applegate Street involving a loaded log truck that hit and damaged a crosswalk pole.

Other calls: Police responses included a littering violation at 7:37 a.m. (Starker Place) and a dog complaint at 11:47 a.m. (Pioneer Street and North 11th Street). In addition, police assisted another agency at 5:37 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.

THURSDAY, JAN. 30

• 3:02 a.m. — Police responded to a crash at Southwest Plymouth Drive and Bellfountain Road. No injuries were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a minor in possession at 6:29 a.m. (Starker Place and McCall Way), criminal mischief at 8:06 a.m. (Main Street and College Street), welfare check at 8:57 a.m. (Main Street), city ordinance violation at 4:08 p.m. (Main Street), suicidal subject at 5:24 p.m., and motorist assistance at 7:19 p.m. (Main Street). In addition, police assisted another agency at 3:08 a.m. (Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis). PPD reported five traffic stops.
