Aged Resident Dead — Mrs. Hannah Starr, wife of Henry Starr of the Beaver Creek neighborhood, died last evening at the family home following a long illness from paralysis. She was aged 84 years. The funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, tomorrow, from Bovee’s funeral parlors, Rev. C.W. Reynolds of the Christian church officiating, and burial will be in Newton cemetery. The Starrs came to Oregon from the East about 25 years ago and had since resided in the Oak Creek neighborhood where the family is widely known. Deceased is survived by her husband, two daughters and a son.
