The Philomath City Council plans to roll out the city’s new logo and recognize the outgoing mayor and city councilor during a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Philomath City Hall.
A process to come up with a new logo design launched this past summer. A design team of city officials and professionals with design and marketing backgrounds worked together on the logo. The timing of the launch coincides with a city website redesign project.
The recognition part of the meeting will include Mayor Chas Jones and City Councilor Ruth Causey.
Also on the agenda, the council will vote on annexation and municipal code-related ordinances and on a resolution to establish system development charge rates, appoint a new member in the Inclusivity Committee and listen to a management report.
Following the regular meeting, the council is scheduled to go into executive session as allowed by law to discuss employee evaluations.
