FRIDAY, APRIL 19
• 2:23 p.m. — Police responded to a report of illegal camping in the vicinity of North 15th Street and Pioneer Street.
• 8:28 p.m. — Police arrested a 56-year-old Portland woman in the 1700 block of Pioneer Street on a warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation.
Other calls: Police responses included a child welfare situation at 6:14 a.m., welfare check at 4:20 p.m. (Pioneer Street), suspicious person at 5:17 p.m. (North 16th Street), citizen contact (North 16th Street and Pioneer Street) and a vicious dog at 7:12 p.m. (College Street). In addition, police assisted the Benton County Sheriff’s Office on calls at 4:33 a.m. (Decker Road) and 1:05 p.m. (Pioneer Street and North 11th Street). PPD reported nine traffic stops.
SATURDAY, APRIL 20
• 9:44 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run at Main Street and North 15th Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 5:56 p.m. — Police responded to a report of illegal camping in the vicinity of North 18th Street and College Street.
Other calls: Police responses included trespassing at 10:13 a.m. (College Street) and a juvenile complaint at 9:41 p.m. (North 16th Street). PPD reported 11 traffic stops.
SUNDAY, APRIL 21
• 2:35 a.m. — Police responded to a situation involving eluding an officer in the 1500 block of College Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 3:13 a.m. — Police served a bench warrant in the 1200 block of Main Street for failure to appear but no information was available on a possible arrest.
Other calls: Police responses included a citizen contact at 2:30 a.m. (Main Street) and a mental health situation at 6:56 p.m. In addition, police assisted the Corvallis Police Department on a call at 8:43 p.m. (Northwest Kings Boulevard and Northwest Garfield Avenue, Corvallis). PPD reported three traffic stops.
MONDAY, APRIL 22
• 10:45 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a prowler in the 2800 block of Newton Street.
• 10:56 a.m. — Police responded to a report of illegal camping in the 2800 block of Newton Street.
Other calls: Police responses included found property at 2:21 a.m. (Applegate Street), welfare check at 8:52 a.m. (Main Street), animal complaint at 9:12 a.m. (Applegate Street) and a suspicious vehicle at 7:50 p.m. (Bellfountain Road and Plymouth Drive). In addition, police assisted the Benton County Sheriff’s Office on a call at 4:11 a.m. (Woods Creek Road and Highway 20). PPD reported no traffic stops.
TUESDAY, APRIL 23
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a dog complaint at 8:04 a.m. (College Street), harassment at 9:28 a.m. (North 19th Street), suspicious circumstance at 4:09 p.m. (Applegate Street), noise disturbance at 8:49 p.m. (North 16th Street and College Street) and a non-911 issue at 11:22 p.m. (North 16th Lane). PPD reported one traffic stop.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24
• 10:39 a.m. — Police responded to a report of illegal camping in the 2800 block of Main Street.
• 8:42 p.m. — Police responded to a verbal domestic dispute between an adult male and female on North 12th Street. The pair was separated for the night. No criminal charges were filed.
Other calls: Police responses included a non-9-11 issue at 5:43 a.m. (Applegate Street), animal complaint at 6:38 a.m. (Chapel Drive and Willowbrook Drive), unknown problem at 8 a.m. (North 15th Street), person assist at 8:36 a.m. (South 13th Street), suspicious person at 4:46 p.m. (South 23rd Street), littering violation at 4:46 p.m. (Newton Street and James Street) and a person assist at 4:57 p.m. (location not reported). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 10:07 a.m. (South 15th Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.
THURSDAY, APRIL 25
• 12:22 p.m. — Police responded to a crash in the 300 block of North 15th Street. No injuries were reported.
• 12:48 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the 2000 block of Applegate Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 2:01 p.m. — Police responded to a situation involving the violation of an order on South 13th Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
