The Philomath Fire and Rescue Budget Committee plans to meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Consumers Power Inc.
The meeting agenda includes budgetary discussions in the areas of administrative, emergency medical services, suppression, safety and training programs, prevention and public education, emergency communications and mapping, buildings and grounds, vehicle equipment, personnel, bond funds and reserves.
A public comment period will be provided. A copy of the proposed fiscal year 2024-25 budget is available to view online, can be requested via email or can be inspected at the fire station at 1035 Main St. (weekdays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.).
The committee also plans to nominate a chairperson to lead the meeting.
