Compton pinned his first opponent but had a fight on his hands in the quarterfinals against Mountainside’s Ethan Stock. Compton pulled out the win 6-4 in the first sudden victory period. After working a 12-5 win in the semis, Crook County’s Landon Lavey won by pin over Compton in the finals.
