FRIDAY, AUG. 14
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 9:31 a.m. (North 19th Street), traffic hazard at 6:25 p.m. (Applegate Street and South 15th Street), juvenile complaint at 7:06 p.m. (Applegate Street and South 14th Street), dead deer in roadway at 10:06 p.m. (Highway 20) and a bar check at 11:16 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported six traffic stops.
SATURDAY, AUG. 15
• 4:46 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an electric scooter crash at Applegate Street and South 17th Street. The operator of the scooter, a 51-year-old man, was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
Other calls: Police responses included a dog barking at 11:02 a.m. (Applegate Street) and an argument at 11:34 a.m. (Main Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies on calls at 11:56 a.m. (Landmark Drive) and 3:31 p.m. (Highway 20 and Kings Valley Highway). PPD reported 10 traffic stops.
SUNDAY, AUG. 16
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a dog barking at 12:10 a.m. (Pioneer Street) and an argument at 10:41 a.m. (South 18th Street and Applegate Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 10:24 p.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis). PPD reported six traffic stops.
MONDAY, AUG. 17
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a noise complaint at 12:03 a.m. (Philomath High School), welfare check at 9:51 a.m. (Newton Street), event detail at 12:02 p.m. (South 19th Street), welfare check at 12:08 p.m. (Applegate Street), an intoxicated man passed out at 12:17 p.m. (Main Street), argument at 1:07 p.m. (South 19th Street and Lowther Place), traffic complaint at 2:44 p.m. (North 19th Street and Main Street), welfare check on a child at 3 p.m. (Quail Glenn Drive), overdose/poisoning at 3:49 p.m. (College Street), property found turned in at 6:53 p.m. (Applegate Street) and property found turned in at 7:41 p.m. (Applegate Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 1:18 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.
TUESDAY, AUG. 18

Other calls: Police responses included an argument at 2:23 a.m. (Main Street), event detail at 12:17 p.m. (South 19th Street) and a welfare check on two males passed out on a bike path at 5:08 p.m. (James Street and Newton Street). PPD reported nine traffic stops.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 19
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a city ordinance violation at 9:37 a.m. (Pioneer Street), welfare check at 9:50 a.m. (Pioneer Street), trespassing involving a man sleeping in front of a doorway at 1:15 p.m. (Main Street), traffic hazard at 8:09 p.m. (North 11th Street and Pippa Lane) and a non-911 issue at 8:29 p.m. (North 11th Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.
THURSDAY, AUG. 20
• 2:51 p.m. — Police conducted an investigation involving an apparent suicide.
Other calls: Police responses included a parking complaint at 8:03 a.m. (South 11th Street and Main Street), non-911 issue at 8:35 a.m. (Main Street), alleged city ordinance violation at 11:38 a.m. (North 19th Street and Main Street) and a welfare check at 12:41 p.m. (South 15th Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 10:30 a.m. (South 23rd Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.
