VOLUME 7, NUMBER 143
Thursday, July 2, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

I sat down with Chuck Cox yesterday for an update on the Dirt Road Brewing construction project, so we have an update. Gubernatorial candidate Christine Drazan will be making a Philomath appearance next week. The BCSO Log reports on recent incidents and arrests. Siuslaw National Forest issues a reminder about fireworks. In partner content, OCC has a piece on how the World Cup is boosting Latino businesses and Stacker has a story about SNAP benefits and impacts that have been seen. Last night, the old college building looked cool in the evening sky and I shot an image, which is today’s Philomath in Photos subject. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
