Mrs. Conner Dies — Mrs. Susan Catherine Conner, 86, died Monday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Florence Knox, in Salem, following a brief illness. Mrs. Conner has resided in Salem only since last spring, going there from Benton county. For a number of years she was with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Park, residing with them until the death of Mrs. Park. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Knox of Salem, Orval B. Conner of Halsey and Mrs. Alice Park of the Beaver Creek community. There are 11 grandchildren, including L. W. Park of Corvallis, rural mail carrier for the Corvallis post office, and a number of great-grandchildren. Plans for the funeral had not been learned here, but it is probable the service will be held some time Friday. Interment will be in the family plot in Newton cemetery, near Corvallis.

Conner — Mrs. Susan Catherine Conner, 86, died Monday night at the family home, 925 North Water street. Survived by the following children: Orville B. Conner of Halsey; Mrs. Florence Knox, Salem; Mrs. Alice Park, Philomath; 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Services at the Rigdon mortuary Thursday at 11 o’clock. Remains will be sent to Philomath where concluding services will be held Thursday at 2 o’clock in the United Brethren church with interment in the Newton cemetery at Philomath.

Funeral This Afternoon — The funeral for the late Mrs. Susan Catherine Conner was held from the United Brethren church at Philomath this afternoon, with interment in the family plot in Newton cemetery. Mrs. Conner died Monday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Florence Knox, in Salem, where she had resided since leaving Benton county last May. She had long been a resident of this section of the state, making her home with relatives at Beaver Creek. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Florence Knox of Salem and Mrs. Alice Park of Philomath, and one son, Orval B. Conner of Halsey.
