Marys River Grange Farmer and Homesteader Swap Meet and Greet

Calling all farmers and homesteaders! Many of us are guilty of having a “just in case” stockpile in our barns and sheds but instead of letting them sit unused, let’s connect and meet other folks who might be looking for the very thing you’re holding on to. Gather your unused tools, supplies, extra seeds, already read books, overstock of canning supplies, extra egg cartons, fibers, unused packaging materials, etc., and bring ‘em on down to Marys River Grange for a festive and fun gathering.
We will supply tables, you bring your goods and get ready to swap, barter, sell at a set price, or give it all away for free. If you have larger items (hoop house plastic, irrigation line, shade cloth, tractor implements, etc.), you are welcome to either bring them and display them outside or bring a detailed list to display at the event.
Registration is required.
The intention of this event is to bring together folks who work with land or animals to feed themselves or others; create an atmosphere of mutual respect; share resources and enjoy each other’s company and keep perfectly good tools, equipment, etc., in use instead of gathering dust in storage. You don’t have to bring items to participate but we do ask that all participants be connected to farming or homesteading. Contact: Bea Johnson at sunbowproduce@peak.org.
