The Benton County Assessor’s Office released 2026 tax statements and certified property values Monday. Property owners can view both through the county’s online property search tool.

Owners of business personal property accounts valued below the county’s $24,000 cancellation threshold will not receive a tax statement for that business property.

Taxpayers who pay their full bill by Nov. 16 receive a 3% discount. Those who pay two-thirds of the bill by that date receive a 2% discount on the amount paid, with the remaining third due May 17.

Property owners can also split their taxes into three equal installments due Dec. 15, Feb. 16 and May 17, though that option carries no discount. Under state law, interest is charged on late installment payments, and the county says interest begins accruing on payments made after Dec. 16.

Mailed payments must be postmarked by Nov. 16 to count as on time. County officials caution that mail dropped in boxes within Benton County may not be postmarked for one to three days. Anyone mailing a payment less than a week before the deadline should take it to a post office service counter and ask that it be hand-stamped with a postmark.

The county offers six payment options:

  • Drop box: A white tax drop box sits in the parking lot of the Kalapuya Building, 4500 SW Research Way in Corvallis. Include the payment coupon.
  • In person: The Benton County Tax Office is on the first floor of the Kalapuya Building.
  • By mail: Send payments to the Benton County Tax Office, P.O. Box 964, Corvallis, OR 97339, with the payment coupon.
  • Credit union: Payments can be made at Oregon State Credit Union branches through Nov. 16. Payment coupons are required.
  • Online: Credit card, debit card and electronic check payments are accepted online. Service fees apply.
  • By phone: Call 1-866-898-2918. Service fees apply.
