The Philomath School District’s Budget Committee plans to meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Philomath High School.
The committee will meet for its first work session as part of the 2026-27 fiscal year budget preparation process. A second work session could occur March 31, but only if necessary.
The work will lead to the creation of a draft budget document, scheduled for release in late April. The committee will then gather on May 5 to present the proposed budget, a meeting that includes a listening session and the committee’s approval.
The Philomath School Board plans to hold a budget hearing during its June 18 meeting with possible approval.
The meeting will be held in the PHS Community Conference Room (go in the main entrance, first door on the right). The meeting will be streamed on the school district’s YouTube channel.
The Budget Committee is made up of the five school board members and five budget committee members appointed from the community.
