Samaritan Health Services will launch a mobile perinatal medical clinic in Corvallis next month, offering walk-in prenatal and postpartum care for pregnant and parenting families in Benton and Linn counties.

The SamCare Mobile Medicine clinic will operate every Monday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Monarch on 4th, 520 NW Fourth St., beginning April 6. No appointments are required and most insurance plans will be accepted, including InterCommunity Health Network Coordinated Care Organization and Oregon Health Plan. Staff will also be available to assist uninsured patients with the application process.

Services will be provided by a certified nurse midwife handling prenatal and postpartum care, a traditional health worker offering peer support, advocacy and referrals, and a behavioral health team available for counseling and recovery services.

Samaritan will host an open house at Monarch on 4th on March 16, with two sessions — 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., with lunch provided, and 4-6 p.m., with refreshments. Attendees can tour the mobile clinic, meet the care team and learn about referral and collaboration opportunities.
