The Philomath Youth Activities Club is taking orders for the fall delivery of firewood, an activity that serves as one of the organization’s primary fundraisers.
PYAC’s firewood project dates back to 2001 with more than 1,000 cords sold in the years since.
To order, call 541-929-4040 or send an email to PYAC@pyac.net. Per cord prices are seasoned mix of maple, fir and alder, $300; seasoned mix of fir, alder, maple and oak, $350; and seasoned straight hardwood mix of oak, madrone, cherry and chinquapin, $400.
There is a $25 fee for all orders of one cord. The primary delivery date has been scheduled for Sept. 28.
Organizers are also looking for anyone who would like to be involved with the project through the donation of wood, equipment or time.
