THURSDAY, JAN. 15

• 8:06 a.m. — Troopers responded to a three-vehicle crash on Highway 18 at the intersection with Highway 154 east of McMinnville that took the life of Isaac Andres Cisneros, 32, of Dayton. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that a Honda Civic driven by a 33-year-old Lafayette woman was traveling northbound on Highway 154 (Lafayette Highway) and attempted to cross Highway 18. The Honda entered the path of Cisneros’ eastbound Audi A4, resulting in a collision. The collision caused both vehicles to enter the westbound lane where the Audi struck a westbound semitruck driven by a 48-year-old Portland man. Cisneros was declared deceased at the scene. The Honda’s driver suffered minor injuries.

SATURDAY, JAN. 17

• 5:46 p.m. — Troopers responded to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Kirtland Road (Highway 140) and High Banks Road east of Tolo in Jackson County that took the life of Jeremy Bruno Fantechi, 27, of Grants Pass. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that a Cadillac Escalade driven by a 74-year-old Grants Pass man was northbound on High Banks Road and entered Kirtland Road where it was struck by a Ford Escape driven by a 16-year-old Central Point girl. Approximately five minutes after the initial crash, Fantechi was driving an eastbound Harley Davidson Electra Glide motorcycle and struck the Cadillac reportedly at a high rate of speed. Fantechi was declared deceased at the scene.

TUESDAY, JAN. 20

• 10:40 a.m. — Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 212 east of Damascus in Clackamas County that took the life of Teresa Ann Castello, 67, of Boring. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Castello was driving an eastbound Subaru Crosstrek when it crossed the centerline for unknown reasons and struck a westbound Ford Bronco driven by a 32-year-old Boring woman head-on. Castello was declared deceased at the scene. The Ford’s driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

THURSDAY, JAN. 22

• 9:42 a.m. — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 20 east of Harper Junction in Malheur County that took the life of Mark Daniel Waggoner, 61, of Meridian, Idaho. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Waggoner was driving a westbound Hyundai Kona when it left the roadway for unknown reasons, rolled and became submerged in the Malheur River. Waggoner was declared deceased at the scene.
